Sears Point at Sunrise, southwest Arizona
Skies had been forecast to be overcast but clearing during the evening. We waited patiently, dozed off a little, waiting for the promised clearing that never seemd to come. Finally, a miracle of sorts, and the skies cleared at 3:30 AM. We dashed up the side of the mountain and took 24 sky exposures and 6 foreground shots, 20 seconds wide open at ISO 1600 on a Sony A7S. Images were stacked to reduce noise and hand composited for focus stacking.
